Mercury Retrograde conjunct Jupiter: Archetypal Yoga - Flow Practice

Updated: Feb 15

Purification of Perception: 5th & 6th Chakras - Ajna & Vishuddha

Mercury went retrograde on Jan 30 and is exactly conjunct Jupiter, today. It will station direct on Feb 20. So, today I taught a class that calls on the archetypal combination of Mercury-Jupiter so we may reflect, from a bird's eye view, on our own lives and the relationship we share to the greater whole. I invite you to zoom out and up as you set an intention for your practice and your life.

We practice with mindfulness, more appropriately described as mindlessness (less thinking), so that we can open to the periphery and view our patterns from this expanded perspective. I encourage you to let go of the details and overthinking that happens in your individual mind so that you can witness your practice from an expanded state of awareness.

My hope is that you may access clarity and purity of perception in any area of your life that feels overly complex, confusing and bogged down. May you have faith that you are connected to a larger plan that is revolving in and around your for your highest potential and wellbeing.

"Life isn't as serious as the mind makes it out to be." - Eckhart Tolle

This practice is suitable for all levels of practitioners with some experience of flow based yoga. Recommended props: yoga mat, 2 blocks, bolster, yoga blanket, eye pillow
